This team exists to expand the access and entry points for students and learners of all disciplinary backgrounds to learn about AI and support learners individually and as groups pursue their interests in the wide-ranging field of AI across digital and in-person spaces.
OxAI Resource Hub
Given the wide range of free resources available on the world wide web, our team is furthering the creation of the OxAI Education Hub which aims to bring together the best AI educational resources from Oxford and around the world. Our team will work as curators by reviewing, compiling, categorizing, and labeling world-class AI educational resources from the web and liaising with subject matter experts at the University to identify and fill important content gaps.
Objectives
Accessing AI Education from any background: Our team will devise strategies for broadening access to AI education for all students at the University and beyond from all disciplinary backgrounds. For us, AI Education is not limited to technical learning, but also includes learning about the short- and long-term social, political, economic, scientific and business impacts of AI, as well as potential application and use case opportunities for AI across a wide range of sectors.
Outreach: Our team is devising and implementing strategies for outreach to our primary stakeholders through online and in-person sessions ranging from weekly challenges to workshops.
